The Test & Evaluation (T&E) of HSC is different to larger and slower displacement boats and ships. The repeated shock and vibration requires a different focus, particularly on the crew and passengers. STR undertakes specific HSC T&E to assess the following aspects of design and operation:

  • Hull design
  • Suspended deck assessment
  • Suspension seat assessment
  • HSC crew and passenger performance
